Samsung has reportedly filed trademark applications for the terms "Samsung Joy" and "Samsung Fresh." The US Patent and Trademark Office documents do not provide any details regarding the true identity of either device, however the filings do confirm that the brands will be related to phones.
It is unclear if the devices represent smartphones or basic handsets, though the trademarks omit the 'Galaxy' designation that is typically paired with the company's Android-based offerings.
