Verizon offers BlackBerry Curve 9370 for sale

Verizon on Thursday began offering the BlackBerry Curve 9370, as expected. The handset supports both Verizon's native CDM as well as world roaming through quad-band GSM for voice as well as GPRS and EDGE data networks. NFC carries over.

The BlackBerry 7-based phone gets a five-megapixel camera with a flash and a 2.44-inch display. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built-in. Like its touch equivalent, it has an 800MHz processor onboard along with 512MB of RAM. About 1GB of storage is built-in, expandable through a microSD slot.

The phone will cost $100 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year contract.
