Sony PlayStation Certified program gets new games

The PlayStation Certified program will soon get a number of new titles, according to a number of new ESRB ratings. Thus far, the program, which was designed to bring legacy PlayStation games to PlayStation Certified devices such as tablets and smartphones, only offered a few PS1 titles. The Entertainment Software Rating Board names a number of other PSP titles that will be made available on Certified Devices.

The games include Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Daxter, flow, Pinball Heroes, Fat Princess, ModNation Racers, Motorstorm, Wipeout HD, High Velocity Bowling, Hot Shots Golf, PAIN and Uncharted. The compatible hardware from Sony includes the S and P tablets, the Xperia Play, the Xperia Arc and Acro in Japan and the upcoming Xperia S and Xperia ion smartphones. Exactly when the games will show up isn't known. [via
