New M17x, M14x, M18x variants

Details surrounding Alienware's 2012 notebook lineup may have surfaced ahead of an official announcement. Leaked details posted on Dell-Lab, a source pf previous accurate tips, suggest the company is set to refresh its existing M14x, M17x and M18x notebook models with a number of new features.

The 17-inch M17x-R4 is said to provide a choice between AMD's Radeon 7970M GPU and NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 660M or 675M graphics components.

The 14-inch M14x-R2 is claimed to offer 1GB or 2GB discrete graphics cards, or integrated graphics, though the exact GPU options remain unclear. Both the M14x and the M18x-R2 will reportedly be available in red or black color options.

Dell has yet to officially confirm details surrounding the 2012 Alienware notebooks.
