Neo Geo Pocket console spotted with classic games

A new games console from hardware maker SNK Playmore has shown up online thanks to Japan's Famicom-Plaza. The device, called Neo Geo Pocket 2 thus far, aims to revive the Neo Geo game brand. The 4.3-inch console takes some styling cues from Apple's latest smartphones and includes 20 classic Neo Geo games preloaded onto its 2GB of internal memory. All titles are made for North America, with English text and speech.

The hardware includes a directional pad, four hardware buttons, and four shoulder buttons. An SD card slot, headphone jack, and AV output account for the connections. Just some of the preloaded games include Super Sidekicks, League Bowling, Fatal Fury Special, and the regular Fatal Fury.

When the console will launch or what it will cost hasn't been revealed. [via Andriasang]
