Razr lineup set to expand

Motorola is reportedly preparing to expand investment in its Smart Actions management features that are available on the company's new Droid Razr handsets. Senior VP Alain Mutricy has confirmed that the company is not done developing the system, which will likely be expanded to additional handsets this year.

Smart Actions enable users to configure specific controls over various phone features and settings. A wide range of actions can be set to occur automatically, such as silencing the phone during late or work hours. The customization is designed for simplicity, with lists of triggers and a separate set of actions.

Mutricy did not provide additional details surrounding the company's plans for ongoing Smart Actions development, though he did reiterate the commitment to expanding the Razr lineup. [via All Things D]
