Company "working hard" to meet demand

Razer has announced that it has sold out of the first batch of its Blade gaming notebooks within 30 minutes. The high-end notebooks were originally slated for the holidays, however the launch was eventually delayed until late January as the company made a last-minute decision to switch to SSD storage.

The 17-inch notebook features a unique trackpad that doubles as a secondary LCD, along with several rows of LCD-lit keys, both positioned to the right of the keyboard. Other features include GeForce GT 555M graphics, 8GB of RAM and a 2.8GHz Core i7 processor.

"We will update you again once our next batch is finished and we are doing all that we can to keep up with the demand," the company wrote in a Facebook post.

The next batch of Blades is expected to arrive by mid February.
