Mystery device labeled GT-i9300
Samsung's Galaxy S III may have already passed testing by the Wi-Fi Alliance for approval. Documents posted by the trade group point to an unannounced handset referred to by the model number GT-i9300, corroborating an earlier leak from Samsung's support pages for the UAE.
Additional details surrounding the Galaxy S III have yet to surface, though likely features are said to include a 720p display, dual-core 2GHz processor and Android 4.0.
A Samsung executive recently admitted that the company is "still reviewing" launch options for the Galaxy S III. The comments cast doubt on the possibility of a Mobile World Congress unveiling.
Separate rumors suggest the company may be waiting to formally introduce the Galaxy S III in the US. [via Pocketnow]
