MOTOACTV now lasts for 9h, gets more features

Motorola's MOTOACTV has received a second big update that significantly extends its usefulness. It has gained another hour on top of what it got in a first update and can last for nine hours on battery. An overdue battery meter in the status bar now gives a better indicator of how much charge is left.

Other improvements let runners lock the workout screen if they want to keep the wrist computer off while they run or otherwise risk turning it on by accident. Workouts can now repeat if they've been planned. Numerous other fixes for syncing and other minor issues have come with the upgrade.

The update should be available now to owners. A computer sync is usually necessary for the MOTOACTV update to install. [via Droid-Life]
