Toshiba's AT200 exclusive at Carphone Warehouse

Toshiba's AT200 tablet has now gone on sale in the UK as an exclusive for Carphone Warehouse. The tablet was originally supposed to launch in September, but was delayed for unknown reasons. The 10.1-inch Android tablet sports a 1.2GHz processor and has 1GB of RAM.

Its signature trick is its 7.7mm thickness, which leads to a mass of 535 grams. The touchscreen is covered by Gorilla Glass, and there are integrated stereo speakers, a microSD card slot, a mini USB port, and a mini HDMI connection. A five-megapixel camera is out back, while a two-megapixel cam faces the user. The maker promises to update the preloaded Android 3.2 to Android 4.0 fairly soon after launch.

The 16GB, Wi-Fi tablet is priced at £400 (about $630) in the UK. When or if the tablet will come to other markets hasn't been revealed.
