HTC Endeavor UI leaked all over the Internet

The yet to made official HTC Endeavor has had its ROM leaked on Chinese website ahead of its official unveiling expected at the World Mobile Congress. The leak has confirmed the rumored Tegra 3 processor and has also yielded screenshots of HTC’s revamped Sense 4.0 UI overlay for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). In addition to confirming that the Endeavor will be one of the first Tegra 3 smartphones, it also offers the first look at how one of the leading Android smartphone makers has reworked Google’s stock ICS interface for its own hardware.

The Endeavor will also carry a 4.7-inch display with a 1280x720 resolution, while its 1.5GHz quad-core processor will be paired with 1GB of RAM. It will also pick up an eight-megapixel rear camera, NFC and will pack HTC’s Beats Audio implementation for enhanced audio playback.

The new Sense 4.0 UI also appears to be a comprehensive reskinning of the ICS interface as seen on the Galaxy Nexus, with little if any trace of its official Google underpinnings evident on the surface. The home screen features an update version of the signature Sense weather widget, while the device can also be flipped into a tablet landscape mode taking advantage of the simultaneous tablet and smartphone capabilities of ICS.

Also apparent in the screenshots is the ability to run at least two windows side-by-side, in what gives the look of a traditional PC desktop. The leaked screenshots also give users a preview of the new Sense phone book, favorite contacts, photo gallery, lock screen reminders and the new stock backgrounds.
