Iconia Tab A200 getting official Android 4.0

The Acer Iconia Tab A200 is getting an official update to Android 4.0, users on the Android Police forum have reported. The update moves the tablet from Android 3.2 to Android 4.0.3, as promised earlier. If owners didn't get an automatic notification of its availability, they can manually check by going to the System update screen in their settings menu.

The official update differs from the leaked 1.019.00 update from a few days ago, though exactly how beyond bug fixes wasn't revealed. Those who got the official update say it improves browser response significantly and should also fix an issue with the microphone, among many other improvements. The update is about 256MB in size.
