Alcatel's touchscreen QWERTY OT-915 due in UK

French handset and tablet maker Alcatel will bring a new Android handset to the Mobile World Congress show this month. The OT-915 will run on Android 2.3 and sport a hardware QWERTY keyboard, ElectricPig revealed. It also adds a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a 320x240 resolution and is an above-average 11.9mm thick.

Otherwise, the phone will get integrated Wi-Fi, an FM radio, and a five-megapixel camera, though whether Bluetooth is present as well hasn't been revealed.

The handset will go on sale in the UK later this year, though exactly when or what it will cost isn’t known. The price should remain fairly low, however, as Alcatel's previous Android handsets cost under £100 in the UK (about $160) without contracts.

    Another one will go unnoticed

Must be hard to be a an OEM where your market is highly commoditised.
