Google Drive already appearing in users' accounts

Google's cloud storage service, Google Drive, may indeed be ready for launch, with a GeekWire reader reporting the option was enabled in his Google account. He even shared the screen captures (embedded below), though they were modified to protect his privacy. The second image is said to be a blown-up logo for the service, which will appear in the browser header when the service is loaded.

The screenshot also indicates users will have the ability to install Google Drive, likely to be software that will let upload and download files from the cloud. The news follows last week rumor that the service is ready to launch within weeks or months.

Specifics such as how much storage space will be offered remain unknown, but it's likely to be split between free and paid offerings.
