Triggers up to 4 zones at up to 1600 feet

LPA Design has unveiled a new compact wireless remote transceiver for cameras and flashes. The PocketWizard Plus III provides wireless triggering of up to four devices or zones. Range is up to 500 meters (1,600 feet).

At the core of the device is a radio supporting up to 32 triggering channels. The wide range of channels comes in handy in wireless-heavy venues such as sports arenas or trade shows. The user interface is though a soft-touch keypad used in conjunction with a one-inch, LED-backlit display. The four channels can either be triggered together or individually. The device is powered by two AA batteries when not wired to a power source.

LPA has not given out pricing or availability, but will be displaying the PocketWizard III at the WPPI conference in Las Vegas this week.
