Samsung climbs ranks to take third
Lenovo has climbed to the top of Rescuecom's computer reliability ratings for the beginning of 2012, achieving a significantly higher score than its competitors. Apple has fallen to fourth in the lineup, despite maintaining a stronger rating in past years and achieving a surge in overall market share, with a score that is just over half of Lenovo's rating.
Toshiba currently holds the second position, while Samsung has risen to the third spot with a score that is just several points above Apple.
"The comparatively smaller Toshiba and Samsung are illustrating interesting reliability trends worth watching over the coming year," said Rescuecom CEO David Milman.
Asus and HP held the fifth and sixth positions, respectively, while Dell, Sony and Acer rounded out the bottom of the list.
