Droid Fighter, LG Cayman tipped for Verizon by April

updated 07:00 pm EST, Wed February 22, 2012

Additional details remain unclear

Verizon may be ready to release two new smartphones within the next two months, including the LG Cayman and the Droid Fighter. A leaked screenshot posted on Droid-Life suggests the carrier is holding internal workshops related to both mystery devices.

The manufacturer behind the Droid Fighter is also unclear, as Verizon uses the Droid brand for high-end Android handsets from various handset makers.

Verizon has yet to announce any official details surrounding the Fighter or the Cayman. The workshops are scheduled for March 29 and April 12, respectively, though this does not necessarily equate to specific launch dates.
