Fujitsu to show waterproof Tegra 3 at MWC
Fujitsu now plans to bring its quad-core Arrows smartphone to Mobile World Congress, and release more information about, perhaps including shipping and prices. We saw the phone at CES behind glass, and now the Japanese company has revealed its major specs. The phone will be powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 3 chip, which is capable of 1.5GHz clock speeds.
It will be large, too, sporting a 4.6-inch touchscreen, and feature a 13.1-megapixel camera out back, allegedly capable of ISO settings as high as 25,600. It will also be water- and dust-resistant, though if it will carry military grade certification isn't known. For security, there will be an integrated fingerprint sensor. Finally, Fujitsu revealed the phone will run on Android 4.0 when it ships. An LTE radio should be onboard, and the handset will likely carry Arrows branding.
When it will launch isn't known, and only sample units will arrive at MWC. Battery life, while not specified, is said to be long. [via Unwired View]
