Huawei kicks off MWC 2012 coverage

Huawei is the first to start a series of introductory events at Mobile World Congress. It's expected to be one of the first with a quad-core smartphone in the Ascend D Quad (formerly D1 Q) as well as a 10-inch tablet, the MediaPad 10. Check Electronista's live coverage page from 9:30AM Eastern for updates as they happen from the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona.

    More of nothing

This will be another company that will a) only be popular in it's country of origin or b) we'll never be heard f again.

If you care to do a little research...

you would find that Huawei, is quite an impressive company both in the scope of it's products and on the management of it's offices. It actually manufactures hundreds of electronic components and complete products, for several well known western labels. To you it sounds new because they have just started selling mobile phones recently, just like HTC some years ago.

But we both know research is not a Mac afficionado's forte.
