Just days after Intel admitted that its Ivy Bridge technology may not launch until June, Samsung appears to have posted one if its upcoming Series 7 notebooks for preorder to ship when the chips become available. Retailer J&R currently lists the NP700Z7C-S01US 'Nike', a 17.3-inch notebook powered by a Core i7-3615QM processor running at 2.3GHz.
Other hardware features include 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, and a LED-backlit display with 1366x768 resolution. The system also provides EXpressCache technology that utilizes 8GB of flash memory on the motherboard to help improve speed.
The computer resembles Samsung's Chronos lineup, but the retail listing utilizes the name 'Nike' following the model number. It remains unclear if the company is planning to change the name when the device finally arrives.
