Google may have picked 2013 Android name early

Although Google has yet to officially confirm the next release of Android, Jelly Bean, new leaks have floated the name for the version coming afterwards. The tip to The Verge gave the possible 6.0 release the nickname Key Lime Pie, keeping in tune with Google's practice of naming Android versions alphabetically, after desserts. Android 4.0 is nicknamed Ice Cream Sandwich, while 3.0 was Honeycomb.

What features Key Lime PIe would have weren't mentioned. It's likely too early to determine a feature set and may not get more details until 2013, when it's most likely to ship. Jelly Bean, possibly Android 5.0, isn't likely to show until late 2012.
