Logitech unveils BH320 USB earbuds for voice chats

updated 06:20 pm EST, Tue March 6, 2012

Earbuds optimized to Microsoft Link

Logitech has launched a new set of airbuds targeting business users. The BH320 USB Stereo Earbuds are designed primarily for voice and video chats, not music. The earbuds use a five-band parametric equalization technology to optimize both the audio and microphone to make it mirror normal speech. Echo cancellation also adds to voice clarity.

The BH320s officially support Microsoft Lync, Microsoft's enterprise unified communications platform, but aren't limited to it and should work with any voice-aware app. Lync mostly lets office workers keep track of their contacts’ availability, send an IM, make a phone call, or participate in an AV chat with a common interface. In-line remote controls provide a shortcut for common audio tasks regardless of the app.

Priced at $80, the BH320 earbuds should be available now.
