Verizon: Android 4.0 update for 14 devices coming

Verizon has just revealed which of its devices will be getting an upgrade to Android 4.0. While no dates were revealed, the carrier only promised that the updates will arrive sometime this year. Only 4G LTE-compatible hardware appeared to be enjoying the update, however.

The Thunderbolt, Droid Incredible 2, Rhyme and Rezound from HTC will get the update. Motorola's devices on the upgrade list at Verizon include the Xoom, Xyboard 8.2, and Xyboard 10.1 tablets, as well as the Droid Bionic, Droid RAZR, Droid RAZR MAXX, and Droid 4 smartphones.

Samsung's LTE versions of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablets are also due to get the update, as is LG's Spectrum phone.
