Panasonic reveals pricing for 2012 Blu-ray player range

Panasonic prices connected 2012 Blu-ray players
Panasonic has just revealed pricing for its 2012 range of Blu-ray players that were introduced at CES, most of which are now shipping. The prices are suggested retail, so should be slightly lower in practice. The entry-level DMP-BD77 is officially priced at $90, with the DMP-BD87 costing $120. Both offer access to video-on-demand over the web, with the former getting an accessory Wi-Fi dongle while the latter has Wi-Fi built-in.
The DMP-BDT220 will come in at $150, the BD-T320 will cost $200, and the DMP-BBT01 carry a $270 sticker. The range-topping DMP-BDT500 will cost $350 as it's the only one with integrated 7.1 analog outputs. All of these can play back 3D content and share Wi-Fi and Viera Connect features, the latter for controlling the compatible TV from one remote. All but the BT220 have a touchpad remote, while the BDT320 and BBT01 get a slot-loading drive. The BBT01 is alone in sporting a slim design.
All but the DMP-BDT500 and DMP-BBT01 are now shipping, with these two due out in May.
