Update brings Sense 3.6 UI

As expected, HTC has begun pushing Android 4.0 updates for its Sensation and Sensation XE handsets for users located in Germany. The update brings the standard set of Ice Cream Sandwich improvements, along with HTC's Sense 3.6 interface overlay.

HTC is said to have started a beta program several months ago for the updates, ahead of an official Europe rollout. The Sensation models represent some of the first existing HTC devices to receive Android 4.0 upgrades, while many of the company's other handsets are not expected to be updated until later in the year.

The German release is currently said to be limited to unlocked devices, though carriers are expected to follow suit in the near future. [via BestBoyZ]
