Foursquare adds business hours for venues

Foursquare now shows doors-open dates
Foursquare helped kick off South by Southwest on Friday by adding business hours to locations. An addition to the page lets restaurants and shops tell nearby Foursquare users whether or not they can visit. Provisions exist for special hours as well, such as free admission at a museum or happy hour for a bar.
Vendors have to request to add hours to their location pages. Mobile device users don't have to do anything themselves to see the new information.
The current app is available now for iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), BlackBerry (App World), and Windows Phone (Marketplace).
