Fujifilm outs 10,000 X100 Blacks for $500 premium
Fujifilm has launched the Black Premium Edition of its X100 retro-styled digital camera. Limited to 10,000 examples for global consumption, it comes priced at $1,700, or $500 more than the standard version. Other than the exclusivity, buyers will get a unique, dark finish and matching accessories in the form of a lens hood, a clear filter, an adapter ring, and a leather case.
The very bright 23mm Fujinon non-removable lens stays, as does the 12.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor. Along with its emphasis on image qualiyt, it has a unique "hybrid" viewfinder that overlays electronic information on top of a real optical view.
