International variants expected sooner

Motorola has expanded its Android 4.0 upgrade timetable, suggesting Droid RAZR owners in the US market will have to wait until after Q2 for the update. The company has confirmed that its Droid RAZR handsets released in any other international market are expected to receive the update sometime in the second quarter, however.

Early Ice Cream Sandwich builds for the Droid RAZR have already surfaced, shedding light on Motorola's Blur custom UI elements for Google's latest mobile OS. It is unclear if the company has developed additional customizations for the official rollout.

Motorola's Android 4.0 timetable suggests development for the US Droid RAZR is still in the "evaluation and planning stage" with "further details to follow," however an estimated release schedule has yet to be announced. [via Android Central]
