Phone to hit South Korea first
A new Pantech smartphone has been revealed. The Japanese website ameblo has posted a reference to the Pantech IM-A830S that appeared on a benchmarking list. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core processor and run Android 4.0.3, making it a clearly new and high-end phone.
The display would contribute to the theory with a 720p screen. It's believed that the phone supports LTE, WCDMA (HSPA 3G) and GSM. SK Telecom's T-Store has been identified as the first carrier to carry the phone, although it might reach the US given a handful of Pantech devices making the leap.
