May conflict with rumor of new MacBook Air

Apple is planning to ship a thinner version of the 15-inch MacBook Pro by the end of next month, How To Arena claims. The information is said to come from "a reliable source in [the] Far East Asian supply chain." The person also indicates that models will be equipped with Ivy Bridge-level Core i5 and i7 processors, and be "thicker than currently available MacBook Airs but thinner than MacBook Pros."

The claim may conflict with another from Electricpig, which suggests that Apple is planning to release a 15-inch MacBook Air next month. The company rarely updates multiple computer lines at the same time. It has also been rumored as working on MacBook Pros taking after the Air design, though, which could be a source of confusion.
