NeoGeo X arrives this spring with 20 games
The NeoGeo X portable games console leaked late in January has now been made official. Interested parties can now register for updates, and the handheld will ship during the spring, preloaded with 20 games. As revealed before, the console will have an SD memory card slot and an AVV port.
The console centers around a 3.5-inch LCD screen and has stereo speakers along with a headphone jack. The launch will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the NeoGeo AES console and will focus on classics in the initial game roster. Just some of the preloaded games include Art of Fighting, Baseball Stars, Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, Super Sidekicks, and Top Players Golf.
In Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, the console will be distributed by Blaze, while Tommo will sell it in the US. Prices haven't yet been revealed. Japan's SNK Playmore makes the console. [via Joystiq]
