Samsung NX20 upcoming revealed in clear shots
Samsung’s NX20, its answer to the Sony NEX line of mirrorless cameras, has surfaced at Dutch site Focus Media. The site managed to snare a pre-production version of the camera, which looks like it takes style cues from Samsung’s popular NX11. However, as expected, the NX20 carries much higher specifications, including a 20.3-megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor.
ISO sensitivity ranges from ISO 100 to ISO 12,800, while Samsung’s iFunction lenses are also supported. On the rear is a 3-inch VGA AMOLED display, while there can also be found a dedicated video button for shooting in 1080p, while it can also shoot continuous images at 8fps. Keeping in line with its prosumer niche, the NX20 will also include a Wi-Fi function with a social twist, allowing users to upload images directly to their favorite social networks.
As Samsung has not publicly discussed the NX20 at this time, no official details are available on pricing or release dates. However, it is thought that an official announcement can be expected soon. [via SammyHub]
