Droid Incredible 4G may be relative mid-tier phone

HTC's Droid Incredible 4G may have had its features locked down through a benchmark run on NenaMark. The test of a Verizon phone identifying as the ADR6410LVW showed a device with an unusual processor choice: it would have the Adreno 225 graphics of Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4, but it would be clocked at 1.2GHz, matching up with earlier leaks but not at all like the usual 1.5GHz the S4 uses.

Its display would also make it relatively mid-tier, giving it a 540x960 display instead of the 720p HTC has been using for some of its newer phones, like the Rezound or Vivid. Android 4.0.3 and 4G LTE are both considered certainties for the new phone, with GSM world roaming a possibility.

A launch for the Droid Incredible 4G is expected sometime during the spring. Its feature set could see it carry a mid-level price at Verizon, edging closer to the $200 price rather than $250 or more for high-end LTE phones. [via Ameblo]
