Jolicloud Me hits beta for HTML5, Android and iOS

updated 08:15 pm EDT, Mon March 19, 2012

Jolicloud Me now open to some users

Jolicloud acted on its pivot into a cloud service with the formal start of a semi-public beta of Jolicloud Me. The invitation-only option gives users a common place for their media and has unique options for finding content, such as where it's located. Users can organize content from disparate sources into individual collections.

The service can tap into services that rarely have an offline component, suc has Flickr, Instagram, and Spotify.

The service has an HTML5-based web app that will work both on regular computers as well as modern tablets. Android and iOS users also get their own native apps. Other platforms weren't named as part of the initial test.
