Hardware follows Mimosa X Android variant

ZTE's Mimosa smartphone has been spotted in the wild, running Windows Phone Tango rather than the Android build that powers the company's Mimosa X. An image posted on WPDang shows the budget-focused handset, which is said to integrate an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor and 256MB of RAM.

The hardware is said to be comparable to other low-end Windows Phone offerings, though it is expected to be paired with replaceable covers to differentiate itself from the crowd.

The Mimosa is not expected to be distributed outside of ZTE's native China. Pricing and launch details have yet to surface. [via WMPoweruser]
