Hulu Plus expands to Toshiba Blu-ray players, more

Still hints but doesn't firmly commit to Apple TV

Hulu has added Hulu Plus support for several new devices. The new components include select Toshiba 2012 Blu-ray players, Sharp 2012 TVs, and Best Buy’s Dynex Blu-ray players. Hulu confirmed that it hoped offer to its premium service through Apple TVs and Boxee Box systems "someday soon."

Earlier this year, Hulu added support for Netgear’s NeoTV 200 Media Player and Magnavox and Funai set top boxes. It also is adding support for Android devices on a continuing basis. It continues to be evasive as to when it might actually support Apple TVs, however, although the recent mention hints it hasn't ruled out the possibility.

Hulu charges $8 a month for its Hulu Plus service. For that, as compared to its free service, subscribers get access through devices other than computers and a larger library of content.
