ASUS teases "awesome" features in Transformer Prime update

ASUS has promised that its next Transformer Prime software update will bring "awesome new features." The company has yet to provide additional details, though the Facebook teaser post reminds owners to "stay tuned."

The tablet arrived on the market with NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 chipset and an Android 3.2 Honeycomb build. the company was one of the first Android tablet makers to offer an Ice Cream Sandwich update, which arrived earlier this year after CES.

Several of the customer responses on ASUS' Facebook page call on the company to fix hardware issues related to the camera and rebooting. The company has yet to publicly address the problems that users have reported since the Android 4.0 update.

A release date and full details of the next Transformer Prime firmware update remain unclear.
