Korg adds smaller, larger microKEY USB keyboards

German digital instrument company Korg has just expanded its microKEY range of USB keyboards. The microKEY-25 is a 25-key version of the existing microKEY-37, while the microKEY-61 is a much larger version. Both will ship with Korg's Legacy Collection Suite of synthesizer software.

The smallest keyboard lacks some of the controls of the larger ones, but retains a USB connection. It alone can connect to Apple's iPad thanks to a camera connection kit. It works with Korg's iMS-20 app. The larger ones require a powered USB connection.

All have the ability to act as a MIDI command center and use Natural Touch keys.

The microKEY-25 costs $70 and the 61 $180, though availability hasn't been revealed.
