Semi-official Android 4.0 leaked for Galaxy S II

An official Android 4.0 update for AT&T's original Samsung Galaxy S II has been leaked over at RootzWiki. The leak indicates that the official update is coming from AT&T, though these dates aren't known. The 3G phone can be upgraded now by owners willing to take the risk to flash the leaked software.

The Odin One-Click installation file requires Windows to install the latest Android OS. The process is relatively simple, requiring users to reboot their phones into Download Mode, connecting the phone over USB to the computer, and run the Odin OneClick file.

The update from Android 2.3.3 or slightly newer should breathe new life into the phone, including offering up new features and options such as supporting Chrome for Android.
