OTA update already arriving in US
Just days after teasing "awesome" new features coming to the Transformer Prime, ASUS has begun rolling out a software update for its flagship tablet. The software update adds compatibility for an upcoming Ethernet accessory, which is expected to mimic the MacBook Air solution by plugging directly into an existing USB port.
Software version 9.4.2.21 is also said to resolve an issue that had caused screens to flicker for some users. Other tweaks include improved HDMI support, new lock-screen options and ASUS app updates.
The update appears to be in the beginning stages of US distribution, though users can manually check for an update via the Android settings menus. [via AndroidCentral]
