Lensbaby ships Composer Pro for mirrorless cameras

Lensbaby has begun shipping its Composer Pro special effects attachment for mirrorless, interchangeable lens cameras. With it, a photographer can reproduce tilt-shift or another specific effect without having to turn to a full DSLR. The Composer Pro works with Panasonic and Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras, Sony's NEX line, and Samsung NX cameras.
The Composer Pro is a specialized filtering system mounted on a flexible swivel ball mechanism. The housing holds optics that can create effects such as a sweet spot of sharpness surrounded by a soft image, a fish-eye view, or a soft focus. By tilting the Composer Pro, the user can choose where to focus the effect in the scene.
Lensbaby began offering the Composer Pro for mirrored DSLRs last April. Pricing with one special effects optics system ranges from $300 to $400, depending on the optics involved.
