LG's Miracle Windows Phone spotted for Sprint, Telus

LG Miracle seen for two North American carriers

The LG Miracle may be bound for two North American carriers at once, based on separate tips. The Windows Phone hardware has shown in an FCC filing as the LS831 intended for Sprint. Details are short as to how it would differ beyond the needed CDMA and EVDO 3G, but it would have a five-megapixel back camera and the expected front VGA camera.

Separate leaking at Pocketnow has shown a close cousin destined for Canada's Telus. While called the E740H and having a slightly different visual design on the back, it's otherwise similar in most respects to its American counterpart. Telus would have to switch to GSM and HSPA 3G.

Both versions will strictly occupy the budget realm if one and the same, centering on a bright four-inch, 480x800 Nova display. They should share a 1GHz, single-core Snapdragon, 8GB of internal space, and a 1,500mAH battery. The Miracle should be LG's first phone intended from the start for Windows Phone 7.5.

Clues as to the release dates are still absent. Any release is either close or may even be doubtful, as talk has existed of Windows Phone 8 dropping backwards compatibility and possibly refusing to run on earlier hardware. [FCC via Phone Scoop]
