Droid RAZR, RAZR MAXX ICS updates postponed
Best Buy has informed its staff that planned ICS updates for the Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX have been delayed. Originally scheduled for April 4, the company has not said when they when users can expect to receive it. Best Buy did, however, confirm that the HTC Rezound will be updated OTA to ICS as planned this Friday, according to Droid-Life.
On Sunday, it emerged that Motorola may be on the verge of releasing the eagerly anticipated Android 4.0 upgrade. A leaked build of Android 4.0.3 had made its way on to the Net for its current halo devices, but was considered to be unfinished and posed a risky install for any eager early adopters.
The company had been running a soak test for willing early adopters, however, but question marks over its stability may mean that it could still be several weeks before Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX users get ICS OTA.
