Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 spied in US for $400

Galaxy Tab 2 may cost 400 for 8GB model
Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 got a possible US pricing leak after Office Depot's tablet listings (now partly changed) showed it in the US. The retail chain listed the Android 4.0 tablet for $400 in an 8GB Wi-Fi model. It wasn't available to buy even while listed and now still exists, but is shown as not
The entry may have been posted unintentionally as a result of a gap between Samsung's intended ship date and the actual release. It delayed the launch by a month to late April after having problems getting Android 4.0 ready. The pricing and capacity could still be accurate, however, given the short gap between Office Depot's listing and the expected intro.
Both the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and its 7.0 sibling are budget versions of the existing Galaxy Tab family, with similar processing power but lower resolution cameras. A $400 price could give the larger model a tough time succeeding in the US given that an iPad 2 at the same price is both faster and has twice as much storage. [via Engadget]
