Recorder uploads, shares wirelessly
Toshiba has begun shipping the Camileo AIR10, a pocket camcorder that features Wi-Fi connectivity. The device enables users to shoot 1080p video and upload the content to the Internet or a computer without requiring a direct connection via USB. The Wi-Fi connection also enables wireless webcam and streaming functionality.
The five-megapixel CMOS sensor is paired with a f2.5 fixed-focus lens, while the image processor is capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps or 720p video at 60fps. Aside from the 802.11b/g/n wireless, users can also directly connect to devices via Mini HDMI or USB.
The AIR10 is currently listed at HSN for $160. [via Engadget]
