Verizon HTC Trophy gets latest Windows Phone fix
The HTC Trophy at Verizon will soon get an update that should catch it up in feature updates. It will bring many changes, including fixing the disappearing virtual keyboard. A similar update to the Windows Phone OS for other devices, build 8107, was applied to other handsets in the past and suggests that Microsoft's latest update is due very soon.
The full list of changes is available from Verizon (PDF), and they include improved voice mail notifications when outside of the US, better text messaging and downloading of large software updates. The Wireless Alerting System is also enabled through this patch.
Exactly when this update will begin rolling out isn't detailed, though it's likely to begin any time now. Releasing this update confirms that Verizon is committed to improving its Windows Phone experience and may indirectly snub AT&T, as it refused the upgrade at least temporarily.
