Leaked memo has Viper 4G shipping on April 22

A newly-leaked internal memo shared by Engadget has revealed that the LTE-enabled LG Viper 4G will arrive in Sprint stores on April 22. The $100 handset will also be available on the store shelves of Best Buy and Radio Shack as well on the same time. The eco-friendly handset will not be capable of accessing Sprint's 4G network just yet, however, as its launch hasn't been detailed yet.

The phone's specs include a four-inch, 480x800 touchscreen, and a dual-core, 1.2GHz processor. There is a five-megapixel rear camera paired with a VGA front unit. There is just 4GB of internal storage space, though users can add up to 32GB more thanks to a microSDHC memory card slot. An NFC radio onboard will give the Viper 4G its Google Wallet support.

When it arrives, the handset will one of the least expensive 4G-capable offerings.
