Google updates Google+ and Goggles for Android

Google has updated its Google+ and Google Goggles apps for Android with some key updates. The most significant change announced for Google+ (Google Play) from a user perspective is the ability to include larger and richer web snippets of shared material, which was high on the list of requests from regular users. When sharing a link, it will appear as a detailed blurb on posts.

Additionally, Google+ for Android now also includes another oft requested feature from users, including the ability to add hashtags in the Stream. The updated app also includes a range of other unspecified bug fixes and performance enhancements as well as improved support for 3rd-party apps.

Google Goggles (Google Play) for Android has also received a couple of enhancements as well. In Continuous Mode, the recognized objects users tap on are now saved to their search history. Further, barcode recognition in Continuous Mode has now been improved to work twice as fast.
