New ThinkPad L-series for business dated for June

Lenovo's latest product pages reveal that its ThinkPad L430 and L530 business-series notebooks will become available for purchase this June. While not many specs are currently known about the pair, they are believed to be MIL-SPEC compliant and have long battery lives. They are also environmentally-friendly, with recycled materials used in their construction.

The latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors are expected to power the pair. The images indicate the keyboards will be the new AccuType version that can also be found on the future T430u ultrabook. High-end options like quad-core CPUs and dedicated GPUs are likely to remain on the L-series.

The L-series line was launched in 2010 with the L412 and L512. The L430 is likely to sport a 14-inch screen, and the L530 may have a 15- or 15.6-inch display.

Prices shouldn't change much compared to the current ones, which start at about $600. [via Laptoping]
