Bluetooth Keyboard usable as phone handset

Elecom will be releasing a multi-device Bluetooth keyboard later this month. The TK-MBD041 is a combined keyboard and cordless handset from the Japanese accessory manufacturer, aimed at users wanting a VoIP handset for a tablet.

The 0.5-inch by 5.5-inch by 2.0-inch keyboard has a display that splits the layout in half and shows caller details, while a press of a button activates the mic and earpiece on the base. A headphone socket allows for remote music playing from a phone or tablet, with charging through Micro-USB and the choice of three colors available.

The limited market for the device is restricted further, as the Elecom TK-MBD041 will be on sale for 18,690 Yen ($230). [via GigaOm]
